Subject: Screen Editor Question
Hi Everyone,

I am trying to layout a custom screen in KMotionCNC for my application and could use some help.

This application uses axis X,Y,Z and A. I was hoping I could re-orient the A axis screen jog buttons so they appear in an up/down orientation (similar to the Y axis) because it would be more intuitive for the user.

Is there a way to copy either the Y axis or Z axis jog buttons and assign their functions to jog the A axis?

Thanks in advance,
David.

Hi David,

No the Jog Motion Buttons are fixed to specific Axes.  But you should be able to reorient the A Axis Jog Buttons however you wish and also assign a bitmap as you wish.  The up and down bitmap arrow images are included as Up.bmp and Down.bmp in the \PC VC Examples\KMotionCNC\res\ directory.  Or you can always make your own.

Hi Tom,

I was looking in that folder but didn't realize I had the file type set to .png so I didn't see the bitmaps. Got it sorted out now.

Thanks very much for your help!

Best regards,
David.
